The room was good-sized and well-appointed, with second bed. The location was marvellous: a local store and shops were within walking distance.

Its location was very central, very close to St Pauls Parish Church. A wide array of options nearby, I visited bars and cafés very close to the hotel. English breakfast was something to remember.

The lady on duty when we arrived and the owner whom we met the next morning at breakfast were really lovely and helped us with all our questions. There wasn't a room available in the main building so we were given a room in a house around the corner, a large family room with a double and 2 singles. Wifi wasn't available there but we were able to go to the main building to use it there. Breakfast the next morning was in the main building and was very nice. Overall a clean, pleasant and very basic budget hotel.
The beds in the room we were given were quite old and creaky, and the doonas were small (I suppose the single beds were meant for children though) and some pillows were lumpy.

Helpful friendly staff: spacious room, comfortable bed, good breakfast.
Tiny sink with no elebow space, nowhere to put soap, no hand towels and no towel rail. No lamp in bedroom. Noisy on Saturday night. Breakfast room had ironing board and washing on back of chairs.

We found Trish the owner very friendly and helpfull she made us very welcome and went out of her way to please us for the whole of our stay. We found it very good value for money even though it was close to clubs and pubs we never had any problem with the noise. We stayed there when visiting family and will definately be going back.
